About
Multi-disciplinary textile designer for high-end, bespoke fashion with specialism in digital print and embroidery design plus a strong interest and knowledge of the modern luxury fashion industry. With my work inspired predominantly by my love for colour and material, there’s an underlying continual inspiration from the moments of joy I experience within my surroundings day to day, predominantly within the natural world. I aim to bring optimism to contemporary fashion with my expressive designs and vibrant use of colour and material. My designs are predominantly composed of my unique hand-rendered approach to illustration that captures my creative enthusiasm.
‘OTHERWORLDLY’ is a project inspired by the elements of nature that appear ‘out of this world’. With a colour palette combined from the WGSN A/W 24/25 trends of 'Luminescent brights' paired with 'Eerie nocturnal darks' at the forefront and an approach to print inspired by 'Ghostly illusions' from A/W 24/25 print predictions... This collection reimagines florals in womenswear by distorting and deconstructing florals in a vibrant colour palette that brings joy, empowerment and optimism. The collection pushes a maximalist, modern and contemporary approach to the timeless integration of florals in the upcoming high-end and bespoke fashion context. This collection focuses on creating impact by capturing expressive hand-drawn textures and motifs combined with delicate distortions through digital print and CAD embroidery with carefully considered use of eye-catching, manmade materials with otherworldly shine and iridescence.

Somewhere in northern Italy
'Somewhere in Northern Italy' was inspired by Luca Guadignino's 2017 film 'Call me by your name.' Set in scenic northern Italy, the film centres strongly around the Italian summer countryside and love. I was inspired by my adoration of the visuals and feeling of love in the film and my trip to the filming locations in Crema, Italy. I also drew inspiration from my Aunt's home in rural France and the summer I spent there the year I produced the project to contribute my personal experience of love within the beautiful European countryside in summertime. My painting and drawing was inspired by French impressionists such as Cezanne and Roal Dufy with the project focusing on capturing the natural textures and lyrical brushstrokes within my painting and drawing style through my specialist processes of digital print and CAD embroidery. These processes combine to create a coherent collection of fashion fabrics inspired by traditional impressionist paintings with a contemporary use of colour, application and technique for high-end luxury appeal in Spring/Summer 2024/2025 womenswear collections.
